Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy) is getting ready for the strong and fascinating Sup Marathon which will take place on September the 5th.
After the period of the activities’ suspension, Lignano is preparing to host and revive the major sporting events that distinguish it within the European scene.
Numerous italian and foreign athletes and lovers are training in view of their participation at the 2020 edition of the Lignano Sup Marathon, which – we remind you – is rescheduled for September the 5th.
The Lignano peninsula is surrounded by charming and fascinating aquatic scenarios in which you are immersed while paddling (the Adriatic Sea, the Marano Lagoon, Coastal Canals, the mouth of Tagliamento River and its banks, it’s natural reserves rich in typical fauna and flora). The contexts and the services dedicated to this kind of sport are also exciting and stimulating.
The 23km of the Lignano Sup Marathon, which is open also to other rowing or paddling means, could be particularly challenging both for single and team racers – we will see who will win the race (the 2019 edition was won by Davide Ionico).
Meanwhile, preparations are underway by

and the numerous volunteers that will have to guarantee the necessary assistance along the route, supported by the main Partners:
